Even though you didn't like that so much, they still look delicious though!Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497908859658953330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583605307430220336.post-22855627673692244882008-09-03T19:29:00.000-05:002008-09-03T19:29:00.000-05:00Hi,Try these out - they're fantastic. I upped the peanut butter to 1 cup instead of the 3/4 cup listed, used lightly salted creamy natural peanut butter (yeah, I know everyone recommends NOT using natural, but I like it), I dropped the cookies by rounded Tbsp instead of tsp and pressed slightly to flatten, and used Ghirardelli semi-sweet chips. Baked them about 12 minutes.<BR/>http://www.recipezaar.com/48532Merylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18141978980727959628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583605307430220336.post-28463691541437947802008-09-03T13:30:00.000-05:002008-09-03T13:30:00.000-05:00Well, they sure do look great anyway! I will be definitely trying the Torres cookie you blogged about. I'll let you know what we think!!!Shelbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11068638453383917637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583605307430220336.post-23944065788627171912008-09-02T12:14:00.000-05:002008-09-02T12:14:00.000-05:00Because I was too lazy to open the new giant bag o...Because I was too lazy to open the new giant bag of chocolate chips that I bought from Costco, I just used the remaining PB chips that I had. When you do a 50/50 of PB and Choc. Chips and then only do half the cinnamon, and no nutmeg, your cookies will probably be much more to your liking. I only did a tiny pinch of nutmeg and 1/2 the cinnamon and I loved them. They were a big hit at work too. I totally agree with you though, if I didn't have the PB chips I would have been pissed that these cookies tried to call themselves PB.Brihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03856451901983584254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583605307430220336.post-9672038468392467792008-09-02T10:48:00.000-05:002008-09-02T10:48:00.000-05:00I whole heartedly agree with all of your complaint...I whole heartedly agree with all of your complaints.chocolatechichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16926192602146485028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583605307430220336.post-52967612728623246882008-09-02T08:32:00.000-05:002008-09-02T08:32:00.000-05:00i think the cookie dough smelled more peanut butte...i think the cookie dough smelled more peanut buttery than it ended up tasting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5583605307430220336.post-44606958582514985102008-09-02T08:20:00.000-05:002008-09-02T08:20:00.000-05:00i couldn't really taste the peanut butter in mine ...i couldn't really taste the peanut butter in mine either, and agree that there was a bit too much going on with the cookies, though it wasn't the cinnamon that bothered me so much. next time i'm either going to leave out the chocolate (most likely) or use semisweet instead. bittersweet chocolate was just a bit too jarring. i did like them anyway - can't seem to stop snacking on them - but i'll change the recipe the next time i make them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
